When your front door shows a keypad above the handle or an app-controlled lock with a loose face, the problem is usually clear at the trim. How the job goes

At the door, we remove the old trim, check the screw holes, and set the smart lock in place. Then we fit the outside keypad or touchscreen, seat the inside unit, and connect the battery pack or wiring inside the case. We test the code pad, the app connection, the thumbturn, and the latch with the door open and then closed. If the deadbolt throws crooked or the latch drags, we reset the alignment at the lock body and check the strike side again in Iberia.

Looking after it

Afterward, keep the keypad clean and dry, and change the batteries before the screen starts blinking low power. Watch for faded numbers, a slow beep, a loose inside cover, or a thumbturn that feels rough when you turn it. If the app drops the lock from its list, check the battery compartment and the body at the door edge.
