What to tell us when you call

When you call, tell us what the key does, or does not do, in the cylinder. Say whether the knob turns, the deadbolt sticks, the door is shut, or the car key will not work in the door. It also helps to know if the lock is rim, mortise, or bored cylindrical, and whether there is one key or more than one. If you see a broken key end, a bent latch, or a loose cylinder, mention that too.
