How the job goes

Then we fit the outside unit, connect the wires if the model uses them, and close the cover again. Looking after it

Afterward, keep the keypad face clean and dry, and use fresh batteries before they swell or leak. Watch for a laggy screen, a code that needs extra presses, or an app that drops the connection near the door. If the thumbturn feels rough, the latch handle drags, or the battery door will not stay shut, those are early signs. A worn number pad, a loose cover, or a battery tray that rocks can point to more wear inside the Dalton lock.
